The Sad Story Of The Star Wars Kid :-)
Anybody reading this is a Star Wars fan or is slowly becoming one :-) All Star Wars fans have their own fantasies be it becoming the Sith Lord Vader or battling it out in the trenches of the Death Star in an X-wing or Tie Fighter. We enjoy these fantasies in the privacy of our own homes with movies, video games, the Internet or even outside at sci-fi conventions.
Not all Star Wars fans are as......socially attuned. In the case of one unfortunate, chronically uncoordinated, overweight teenager with zero atheltic abilities his fantasy was recorded and broadcast over the Internet. The first Star Wars movie was entitled Episode IV - A New Hope. Perhaps this kid could be Episode 10 - No Hope?
The story alleges that this kid, now known as Ghyslain, used his highschool AV room to video himself performing inept Star Wars lightsaber combat forms. Not only that but he also added his own sound effects. Some other kids found the video, converted it and posted it on the web. The rest is history. Ghyslain has become known as the Star Wars kid. Personally I'd be looking at losing 100 pounds and getting some plastic surgery to change my indentity.
